"Sound Perspectives" is a social justice program/workshop that addresses the impact of contemporary Hip Hop and Pop music on youth culture. Morgan will discuss and address how Hip Hop and Pop lyrics and videos affect the attitudes and mindsets of young people and the impacts they have on today's youth.

Are you sexting or dating online? Know people who are? The Sex & Tech presentation is a workshop and discussion about how we can make safer choices when using technology in our relationships. We'll talk about managing risks while still having fun and taking care of ourselves, or supporting friends in taking care of themselves online. We'll focus on consent, boundaries, and tips and tricks for how to say yes and no.

Breaking the Code on Coding to Learn with Jen Agpar
Whether you consider yourself a coding expert, or you just like playing video games come to this session to tinker with some web-based coding challenges. You will have a chance to create, problem solve and critically think. You'll soon realize that when you tell a computer what to do, you are taking risks, practicing resilience, making connections and growing your skills as a learner, all while having fun.

What Defines Success with James Hitchen
In this presentation James speaks about his personal philosophy ‘In life, you are never defined by your mistakes, only your successes!’ James candidly shares a few stories about his journey as a student with dyslexia and how he was in a ‘special class.’ Further, he shares other stories from choices with alcohol to a hockey brawl in which he learned some significant life lessons. Lastly, he talks about his minimal high school average and how that number didn’t define him or prevent him from accomplishing what he wanted from life.
